New Year Starts Here
Reading Rockets tip off 2009 with a tough game against Derby Trailblazers at Rivermead at 4 pm on Saturday. Rockets currently sit top of EBL Division One with an unbeaten record of seventeen wins and zero losses in all competitions. Derby has endured a difficult first half of the season after last year’s successful debut campaign. They did however enjoy a terrific end to 2009 with a surprise victory over London Leopards which snapped a six game losing streak, as American Joe Montgomery scored 41 points in the game. For Rockets, 2009 will be a matter of building on the success of the first half of the season.
